More Than a Serum

I made this for faces. One bottle, for skin that has stopped behaving like it used to.

It didn't stay just for faces.

Then people started telling me what else they were doing with it. Not because we suggested it. Because they ran out of something else, or their hands were still slick after doing their face, and they just tried it.

So now I tell people up front.

The bottle on your nightstand is also the one for your hands.

You finish your face and there's still serum on your fingers. Don't wash that down the drain. Work it into your cuticles, your knuckles, the backs of your hands, your elbows. My hands used to give away my age faster than my face did.

It's what you reach for when your lips crack in February.

Same bottle. No separate tube to lose in the bottom of your purse.

It goes through your ends before you blow dry.

My sister started doing this before I did. She didn't ask, she just tried it, and now I do it too. A drop through damp ends, that's all. It helps hair and scalp hold moisture, smooths frizz, and softens rough ends.

It takes your makeup off, and it goes on underneath it.

Cleanser at night, primer in the morning, for a base that looks like skin instead of product.

It's the thing you reach for when you don't know what else to use.

Dry elbows. Rough heels. That patch on your shin that shows up every winter. A few drops in the bath. Whatever's dry, this works on it.

"I use it on my hair, face, neck, hands, elbows, and my feet."
Chelly O.

"I basically bathe in Vielle Serum! I use it on my face, hands, cuticles, and hair. I even take it with me when I travel!"
Violet A.

"I use it every morning before makeup for that smooth, dewy base, every night for a nourishing glow, and even run a few drops through my dry, coarse hair."
Miranda W.

One bottle, not a shelf full

Here's what all of that actually adds up to.

You stop buying a separate product every time something new goes dry. You stop the drawer from filling up with things you used twice. And you stop having to decide, every morning, which of six things to reach for.

That's the part customers keep describing when they tell us their skin lets out a sigh. It isn't only the relief that's in the bottle, it's the relief of not thinking about it anymore.

Why it works the way it does

Jojoba is the reason this absorbs instead of sitting on top of your skin. It closely resembles the oil your skin makes on its own, which is why your face recognizes it and takes it in rather than leaving it on the surface to rub off on your collar.

Castor is the reason one application lasts. It's thick and it seals, so instead of adding water that evaporates by noon, it holds onto what's already there. That's why this behaves differently than a lotion, and why you're not reapplying all day.

The essential oils are the reason you'll actually use it. Each formula smells like something specific, not like a laboratory, and that matters more than it should. A product you look forward to is a product you finish.

What makes Vielle different

It was made by someone with the same problem.

I made this at 49, when my own skin changed and nothing on the shelf was made for what was actually happening. I use it every day, on my own face, from the same batches I ship to you.

It's made in small batches in St. Louis, by me.

Not outsourced, not white labeled, not sitting in a warehouse for two years before it reaches you.

The ingredient list is short and every word on it is one you can pronounce.

It replaces things instead of adding to them.

Most skincare is sold by convincing you that you need one more step. This is the opposite of that.

Empty bottles.

That's the compliment I didn't expect and the one I care most about. Not that someone likes it, that they use it until it's gone and then order another. A product you finish is a product that worked.

"I've never been a stick to one kind of beauty product girl, I'm forever changing and switching products. But with this, I'm hooked. I'll be using every single drop and will have ordered 2 more before I'm down to the last drop!"
Allison C.

You can try it before you commit to a bottle.

A 5 ml mini is $10, or free with any full size order. You get two weeks with it, which is exactly how long your skin needs to tell you anything, before you decide whether it's yours.

And I'd rather talk you out of a purchase than sell you something you don't need. If you're not sure which one is right, or whether you need one at all, email me and ask.

Which one will you choose

All three share the same base. The difference is what you're asking it to do.

Signature Formula for skin that's changing.

Scar Fade for softening the look of dark spots, scars, and stretch marks.

Vanilla Rind for warmth and a brightening focus.
